My mother's birthday celebration was a huge success. Feeling so grateful for everyone who joined us on extra special day. Not only was it my mom's birthday. I took her to Painting with a Twist in Fort Myers, Florida. Today's painting was in honor of my grandma. My grandma had Alzheimer's and so it was that much special to paint this piece today.
They raised $700.00 what a great cause. Afterwards, we went to eat dinner. Lots of laughter. Making memories to cherish a lifetime. So thankful for my family. Love them with all my heart. In this photo my cousins, my aunts, my sisters, and the birthday girl my mom with the crown.

I wanted to share some weekly tips on how you can get out of the rut! Do you want a better life? I will be sharing weekly tips on what I want to call "Project Self Improvement".
Happiness is everywhere! But some people are having a hard time defining the true meaning of happiness in their life. When you begin to "work" on yourself for example improving your self you can and will achieve a happier meaning to your life.
I will share 5 tips a week for the next few weeks. I challenge you to practice these 5 tips daily for the next week. Continue on adding the weekly tips. Determine which ones work for you and your lifestyle. And practice them daily.
Tip 1: Talk to Someone - Find a happy person to talk too. Ask them their secret to happiness. A happy person will share with you what enables them to feel this way and why the benefits of being happy lead to being positive.
Tip 2: Don't Overlook Pleasure in Your Life - Make a list of anything and everything that pleases you. Once you do that, take a moment and ask yourself when was the last time I was being that person and/or doing those things? Hint: Now do all or some of those things!
Tip 3: Be Grateful - Wake up with an attitude to gratitude. Begin each and every new day of your life with a few minutes of quiet reflection about all the things you have to be grateful for, journal those things with your morning coffee or tea. Now silently to yourself or out loud, say thank-you for each item on the list. Believe me, there is no better way to start your day and open yourself up to the possibility of happiness.
Tip 4: Be in Sync with Your Surroundings - Your emotions are affected by the world you live in - your physical and social surroundings. If you are in sync with that world, you have a much better change of achieving happiness in your life. Think about where you currently live. Ask yourself are you happy? If the answer is no maybe you can consider moving to a different area in which you would feel happier.
Tip 5: Be Ethical - Becoming a more ethical person : Develop a set of principles to live by that conform to society's expectations. Always try to put yourself in the other person's shoes. If you wouldn't want someone to take advantage of you, then don't take advantage of others. Are you consistent? Don't tell one person something in one situation and then tell someone else just the opposite in another situation.
Any situations: You can do anything right now! You may not fully grasp how wonderful you are, but those around you definitely see it. It's time to believe in yourself. Your kind eagerness to help others in their lives will attract people willing to do the same for you.
People: A very charming person whom everyone likes. Someone whom is able to balance all aspects of his or her with ease and grace. Passionate. Friendly. Confident. Beautiful. Independent. Popular. Busy. Brilliant. Unwavering.

Living life. Loving those that want to be part of it. Girls night at Painting With A Twist in Fort Myers, Florida. This was May 22nd. Girls Night with my cousins. It was a awesome night. Love living a balance lifestyle which is so important. I am a coach/mentor/guide and love sharing my light and love in this world. Yet it is so important that we balance our life's. It is so important that we find time for ourselves. Having "me time" is so very important. I truly found that balance when I shifted my mindset and began working on me. I truly love helping others shift into a healthy happy lifestyle. I wanted to share this picture because I am by far not an artist but yet looking at this picture I can say "Heck, I am pretty good."
I love my new Facebook profile banner designed by my friend Kelly J Parsons.
I wanted something that would reflect me. I have often shared that I love the lotus flower because the lotus flower comes from the murky waters to open her petals. I came from an abusive relationship and understand this metaphor. I was beat down in a murky relationship until I SHIFTED and open my wings. I have linked my story for you to read and also my friends website.
I love make-up. In November 2014, I signed up for ipsy Glam Bag. For $10.00 a month, I receive a very cute make-up bag along with about 5 make-up items. Here I am posing with Liptitude.
